Terms of Use

Last updated: March 2026

Acceptance

By downloading or using ZipVault, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

ZipVault is licensed, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on any Mac that you own or control, subject to Apple's standard App Store terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ZipVault is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of ZipVault.

In-App Purchases

ZipVault offers a free tier limited to archives up to 100 MB. A one-time purchase (Unlimited Archives) removes this limit. Optional tip products are also available — these are voluntary and do not unlock additional functionality. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's refund policies.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the contents of any archives you create and for remembering any passwords you set. ZipVault cannot recover lost passwords.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of ZipVault after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
