ZipVault does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

Local Processing

All archive operations — creation, compression, encryption, and validation — happen entirely on your Mac. No files or file metadata ever leave your device.

Password Storage

When you choose to store a password, it is saved exclusively in your local macOS Keychain with WhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly accessibility. Passwords are device-local and never synced to iCloud Keychain or any external service.

No Analytics or Tracking

ZipVault contains no analytics frameworks, no tracking pixels, and makes no network requests. The app has no server component.

App Store Purchases

In-app purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. ZipVault does not receive or process any payment information.
